Project Description

We dealt with the timetabling booking system seen in the SWEAT BY BXR section of the website. The timetable populates real time data that is pulled from MindBody’s API. In addition to this, we also created the login process, buy sweat packs/credits, purchase & user pages on the site which are all mobile responsive. Login process – Enables users to register/login. Timetable – Enables users to view real time class information, book & join waitlist. Buy sweat pack/credits – Allows users to purchase latest sweat packs which are also pulled from Mindbody’s API.

Purchase page – Allows users to purchase using card details (stored or option to store new card) as well as entering a promo code. User page – Once users have signed up/logged in, they are able to see their own profile page which includes their past and upcoming classes, contact details and membership number.

Website & App maintenance

We carry out website maintenance for BXR when required, past work has involved:
– Updating content & images on web/app pages.
– Updating Apple push service notification certificate (allows BXR to send push notifications to customers via the App).
– Updating existing code without it affecting the visuals/branding of the website.
– Optimising loading speed across entire website.

App development

We built an Android version of the existing BXR application on iOS. The new android app is compatible with Android version 5.0 and above, it also looks the same as the existing iOS app.

In addition to the above, we have implemented new features on both iOS and Android BXR applications. The new features involved providing the ability for users to view and purchase single classes, sweatpacks & subscriptions through the app, in the same way as it is done on the BXR website. Alongside the ability for BXR members to purchase personal training sessions.

Mock-ups were created by our in-house designer which displayed how users will navigate through purchasing Sweatpacks and Personal training sessions before developing.

Other works involved updating the text & layout on the About page in the app.
